Case Studies
Are you interested in seeing how other Vermont communities have implemented smart growth policies? This section of the Toolbox features community case studies, the lessons they have learned and the tool they used to accomplish their goals.
The photograph of the featured community in the left menu bar lets you know you are in the Case Studies section of the Toolbox. Each case study begins with a “Community Overview” that provides information about the municipality, such as population, size, and the issues they are facing. It is followed by “Tools You Can Use” that features the Tool, why the community implemented it and how it has helped. There is a “Lessons Learned” section to help you avoid the mistakes made by others. You will also find related Issues and Tools on the left hand menu bar.
