Smart Growth Vermont Weighs in on Environmental Concerns
Thursday, November 11, the Vermont Environmental Consortium, which includes Smart Growth Vermont, held a public conference call to discuss the issues that they want to come before the next administration. Complete Streets in the News
Smart Growth Vermont has been working with AARP Vermont and other organizations in support of Complete Streets -- a planning concept that encourages communities to take all modes of transportation -- walking, biking, public transit as well as cars -- into account when planing or upgrading roads. VPR's Vermont Edition recently aired a show about Complete Streets.
