Training Sessions for Vermont Communities

Smart Growth Vermont offers 2 to 2 ˝ hour training sessions for volunteer boards and active citizens on specific land use planning issues, tailored to a community’s needs. Examples of some of the trainings we’ve conducted include, controlling strip development and zoning for clustering houses. The initial investment these trainings provide is often the first step in empowering people to integrate their community’s long term growth and land conservation goals. If you are interested in a training session for your community, please contact our Program Director, Jason Van Driesche at (802) 864-6310. You can view the list of training sessions we’ve conducted, including the topics covered, on the map below.
